Flu bugs are everywhere in my house!

OK.I am not a very hardworking blogger as I don't really write much here. With a nearly 2-year old toddler(a girl) and a just over 6-month old baby boy at home; and with no laptop,it is not easy for me to sit in front of the desktop to do all those typing. But,how could I do it now(at 1645 hour) without any disruption? They both are napping respectively in their beds, and they are down to flu bugs.OK,not only they are sick,I am almost down too and fighting with the bugs inside my body.Runny nose has alredy surfaced and am fighting with the one that I hate most:COUGHING!The one who spreaded out the bugs is still struggling to recovery, both kids' Po-Po(my mom) caught the bugs about 2 weeks ago.

Worst came to worst, days after Po-Po went to see GP,her son-in-law(my husband-LWS) needed to bring her to hospital A&E due to very high fever.Blood tests,X-ray whatever treatments provided in hospital were done on her that night, strangely they did not give her any medicine.According to my husband:Doc asked her to complete her old medicine that prescribed by the GP and go back to see the GP the next day. After her second return to the GP, she's getting a little bit better but still having some cough that can make people very uncomfortable!

My daughter(her name is Ruth Ann Fay) started to show sign of flu about a week ago and her Papa took half day leave and brought her to see Papa's company's panel medical group's GP.She is a strong kid,her fever was gone after a day or two but still have mild runny nose and occasional cough. Then, the little boy(Noah Jea Hur) started to "Chem!Chem!Chem!",and I knew he was going to become the next victim of the flu bugs.First, few coughs. Then mild fever.Papa took him to the same GP's clinic, but another GP attended to his sickness.Took home only the cough syrup as there is paracetamol at home. However, after 3 days of his visit to the GP,his fever is still lingering at the borderline about 37.5/37.6 degree celsius. He showed sign of some improvement yesterday and after 2 hours he dozed off on his bed,he started to cry and unconsolable. He cried on/off until 0230 hour and found that his temperature has suddenly shoot up to 38.6 deg cel.OK,no joke now and Papa suggested to bring him to 24-hour clinic or hospital A&E.We decided to bring him to KK Children and Women Hospital A&E and luckily there were less patients during that wee hour and we were seen immediately by a doctor.Doc did a blood test to baby boy and after about 1-hour waiting at the ER,results came back normal and aapparently baby boy has mild anemia! We took home 5 bottles of medicine consists of 4 types of medicines.OMG!A bit too much for a young baby!

12 hours after our return from hospital
Baby boy's fever is still standing high at above 38 deg cel,and need to sponge his head from time to time. His cough "sounds" better now as I can hear that the phlegm inside is loosening up.Though he is having fever,he is still alert enough to play with his toys.On the other hand, after days fighting with the bugs and am still fighting with it,I need to apply loads of Vicks on my chest, neck and back before retire to the bed; need to chuck down spoonsfuls of Ni Jiom Pei Pa Kao to suppress the cough and I need plenty of rest,please...

Strongest person in the house?
I think is my helper from Phillipines(touch wood). As I know, she drinks plenty of water to keep herself healthy!
My husband did show sign of cold after his mom-in-law fell sick, but he managed to stay strong(touch wood again!)until now probably because the half-of-bottle of Ni Jiom Pei Pa Kao that he brought to office helped him to stay "un-affected".Anyhow,the illness that he always "catch" is cough so Pei Pa Kao is his best friend!
Other than her runny nose and occcasional cough,Ruth Ann Fay is a strong kid too.I can't imagine how big her appetite is just days after she was down to flu,she just keeps asking for food(and TV) when she is not asleep.

Pray to GOD,I am not the next victim of the flu bugs!
